Claudia Schnellbögl and Michelle Zirkel on “Virtual Reality in English Language Teaching“ on November 25–26.

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming workshop on “Virtual Reality (VR) in English Language Teaching“. The workshop will be conducted by Claudia Schnellbögl and Michelle Zirkel from the University of Bamberg. Participants will have the opportunity to actively try out different types of VR technology (from bring-your-own-device solutions to Meta Quest 3) and immerse themselves into various virtual learning scenarios. We will discuss the potential of VR for making ELT classrooms more immersive, engaging, and effective.

There will be two identical workshops on two subsequent days in order to reach a larger number of participants, since spots are limited. The workshops are primarily addressed at teacher students, but are generally open to anyone interested in the field. If you would like to join the workshop, please contact inga.puestertu-dortmundde, specifying which of the dates you’d like to take part.

Workshop A:

Location: EF 50, Room 0.215

Workshop B:
