Erasmus+ Partner Universities
The department has an Erasmus+ exchange with several European universities, among them Leeds and Worcester in the UK. Students may also choose to study abroad in a non-English-speaking country.
Please note: A stay abroad in a non-English-speaking country does not fulfill the requirements of the Stay Abroad that is mandatory for all 'Lehramt' students. However, should students study abroad, some courses might be transferred to TU Dortmund. As this will be judged on an individual basis by the respective professors, students should contact them early.
Subject-Specific Contacts
In addition to the universities listed below for British and American Studies, you may also be able to participate in an Erasmus+ exchange with the universities that are partnered with the "Angewandten" degree programs or Education Science or your other teaching subjects. The following link will show all partner universities of the Department of Cultural Studies. Some universities (e.g. partners for the Journalism program) may not be open to English Lehramt students.
